HPD's front-mount intercooler kit for the Nissan Patrol GU TD42 (Series 4 wagon with a narrow radiator only) is built around a 450×300×76mm bar-and-plate core. Paired with a suitable turbo setup it supports up to 150kW at the wheels and holds a stable, cool inlet temperature even in hot, arid and rugged conditions.
Front mounting avoids the heat soak that affects top-mount and water-to-air designs, and lower inlet temperatures also reduce engine running temperatures for safer, more reliable performance. The kit includes everything needed to install: a CNC-machined inlet adaptor, alloy mandrel-bent hot- and cold-side piping, quality silicone hoses, load-rated clamps and all hardware, backed by a 1-year warranty.
