HPD's front-mount intercooler kit is designed for the Ford Ranger PX (2012 onwards) with the 2.2L 4-cylinder engine. It lowers inlet and engine running temperatures, and repositions the core higher to clear a winch and bull bar while reducing the risk of damage when off-roading. The cooler intake air responds well to engine tuning, allowing a safe increase in torque and power.
The bar-and-plate core measures 600×300×76mm against the factory 670×220×40mm unit, delivering a 22% gain in cooling surface area and a 232% increase in cooling volume. The kit includes alloy mandrel-bent piping (57mm hot side, 63mm cold side), quality silicone hoses and clamps, laser-cut mounting brackets and a CNC billet map sensor boss for the OEM sensor, and installs without cutting the radiator support.
