HPD Intercooler Kit — Suitable for Nissan Navara / Pathfinder D40 (Front Mount, 2.5L, TYPE 4)

HPD's front-mount intercooler kit for the Nissan Navara and Pathfinder D40 2.5L common-rail turbo diesel uses a larger-than-factory core and aluminium piping to replace the factory rubber hoses that balloon or split under load, restoring throttle response and power. By lowering inlet temperatures it also reduces engine running temperatures for more consistent, sustainable performance.

The kit retains the OEM MAP sensor via a CNC-machined boost port and responds well to engine tuning, in most cases improving torque and power by 25-30%. This is the TYPE 4 configuration — for the electronically controlled throttle body with a two-bolt turbo compressor outlet — as these vehicles were built in several plants with differing hot- and cold-side piping styles.
