The HPD 70VD Series 2 top-mount intercooler kit is built for heavily upgraded 1VD V8 70 Series LandCruisers. It centres on a large 300×700×60mm bar-and-plate core with billet CNC-machined end tanks and intake elbows, integrated rubber-buffered mounts and HPD's vacuum-formed under-bonnet seal tray for a neat, factory-style fit.
Twin Australian-made Davies Craig 9-inch thermo fans, triggered by a surface-mounted temperature switch, run only when needed via a supplied plug-in loom with fuse and relay. This delivers a dramatic drop in intake and exhaust gas temperatures to support a stronger, more reliable tune. It is Australian made and backed by a 1-year warranty.
