HPD Intercooler Kit — Suitable for Toyota Prado 120 D4D (Front Mount, 1KD-FTV, 2006–2009)

The factory intercooler on the Prado 120 D4D is known to be undersized, causing excessive intake temperatures and EGTs, and can leak where the end tanks press onto the core. HPD's front-mount replacement is considerably larger, providing greater surface area for cooling and increased flow for more torque and performance.

The kit features a 450×240×76mm bar-and-plate core, alloy mandrel-bent piping (51mm hot side, 63mm cold side), quality silicone hoses, German-made load-rated clamps, CNC sensor bosses and laser-cut stainless steel mounting brackets. Front mounting avoids the heat soak that affects top-mount and water-to-air setups. With the right supporting modifications it can increase torque and power by more than 30% while lowering inlet and engine running temperatures, and it is backed by a 1 year warranty.
