HPD Intercooler Kit — Suitable for Toyota HiLux (1GD-FTV 2.8L Front Mount 2015–2020)

HPD's front-mount intercooler kit for the Toyota HiLux 1GD-FTV 2.8L is one of the largest available, with a 500×300×76mm bar-and-plate core delivering a 1500cm² surface area and 11400cc volume — a 56% increase in cooling surface area and a 98% increase in volume over the factory unit. A CNC-machined billet boss retains the original air-temp sensor, while the larger core improves flow for setups running aftermarket turbos and injectors.

HPD measures a 6kW gain at the wheels and a 20°C drop in inlet temperatures, leaning out the factory air-fuel mixture for more power and torque when tuned. Lower inlet temperatures also reduce engine running temperatures for more consistent, sustainable performance. The kit includes alloy mandrel-bent 63mm piping, silicone hoses, load-rated clamps, and laser-cut stainless steel brackets.
