HPD Intercooler Kit — Suitable for Nissan Navara / Pathfinder (V9X 3.0L V6, Front Mount)

The 3.0L Renault-built V9X V6 in the Navara and Pathfinder STX 550 makes 170kW from the factory, but the factory intercooler is restrictive and prone to splitting at the pressed end tanks or cracking the core within 100,000km, causing boost leaks. HPD replaces it with a 600×300×76mm bar-and-plate front-mount core and cast aluminium end tanks that flow freely and bolt straight onto the factory mounting points.

The upgraded core offers 1800cm² of surface area and 13,680cc of volume — a 56% increase in cooling surface area and a 49% increase in volume over the 510×225×80mm factory unit. Front mounting avoids the heat soak of top-mount and water-to-air designs, and the kit can release up to 11kW+ with further gains from supporting modifications like an exhaust and remap.
