HPD Intercooler Kit — Suitable for Toyota LandCruiser 105 (1HZ→1HD-FTE Auto, Front Mount)

HPD's Series 2 front-mount intercooler kit suits a 105 Series LandCruiser that left the factory as a 1HZ and has been converted to the 1HD-FTE engine. Shorter pipework runs directly from the intercooler to the turbocharger and inlet, and a replacement TIG-welded aluminium radiator overflow bottle is included to suit that direct path; with supporting modifications and tuning it maintains safe power up to 200kW at the wheels.

The kit uses a 500×275×76mm bar-and-plate core with alloy mandrel-bent piping (51mm hot side, 57mm cold side), laser-cut mounting brackets, quality silicone hoses and German-made load-rated clamps, and is winch and bullbar compatible. Configured for automatic models, it includes a 400×110×50mm transmission cooler. Being front-mounted, it avoids the heat soak that affects top-mount intercoolers, lowering inlet temperatures and helping reduce engine running temperatures.
