HPD Intercooler Kit — Suitable for Toyota LandCruiser 79 (1HD-FTE Top Mount)

HPD's top mount intercooler kit suits the Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series 1HD-FTE, which came non-intercooled from the factory. It pairs a CNC-machined inlet adaptor with an air-temperature boss welded to the core, and includes all mounting brackets, quality silicone hoses, laser-cut bracketry and a bonnet scoop for easy fitment. By reducing inlet temperatures it also lowers engine running temperatures for more consistent, sustainable power.

With the intercooler fitted, engine tuning can be adjusted to increase torque and power, with gains of over 40% in most cases, and its top-mount design suits vehicles fitted with spotlights or winches that would otherwise reduce airflow through the front. The kit uses a 270×375×60mm bar-and-plate core, a 450×470×60mm primer-finish bonnet scoop, German-made load-rated clamps, 51mm hot-side piping and a one-year warranty.
