Most modern utes route transmission oil through a coolant heat exchanger or the radiator's bottom tank, which can push engine and transmission temperatures up under heavy load and risk costly fluid contamination if the system fails. HPD's oil-to-air transmission cooler is designed and tested to hold transmission oil at stable, safe temperatures even when towing hard in extreme conditions.

The bar-and-plate core (400×110×50mm) pairs with CNC-machined end tanks and a billet oil adaptor block, and the complete kit includes laser-cut stainless steel bracketry, hose tail fittings, 10mm oil hose, clamps, insulation, hardware and installation instructions.
